Pilates
Individually tailored fitness training for every client in Indianapolis
Pilates is an appropriate form of exercise for all body types, all fitness levels, and even for people with chronic conditions like Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and various injuries — particularly back injuries. Pilates can:
- Strengthen the core and improve back issues
- Improve balance, flexibility, and coordination
- Increase overall body strength
- Develop a better posture and body awareness and break unhealthy patterns of movement that have developed over time
- Improve your movement throughout your day with the functional aspects of Pilates
- Decrease stress
The Reformer is a Pilates machine that not only challenges, but also supports clients when they are working out on it. ANYONE at any fitness level can work out on the Reformer with SUCCESS!

My passion for Pilates began in 2001 when it was the only pain-free exercise that helped recover from a pelvic girdle and back injury sustained in a horseback riding accident. It didn’t take long for me to decide to get certified as an instructor.
Because I had no strength when I started and had to totally rebuild my strength with Pilates, I know how to help clients learn the Pilates basics and build them up to the much more advanced moves. Most importantly, I know how to work safely with someone who has experienced an injury.
Form is very important to me, and it is something I help clients feel confident about even when they are exercising outside of our Pilates sessions.
